I painted these Yellow Lilies after a trip to the garden store. The plant had one blooming flower and a couple of green leaves. I wanted to fill the canvas with flowers and green leaves so with this idea I turned the plant around several times to get different angles of the flower and leaves. I painted flowers in front of leaves, leaves in front of flowers and stems to achieve this painting. It was a challenge and very much fun.
